The Troubadour is currently looking to fill security/Doorman positions at the venue.

Requirements:
-Communication, observation, and decision-making skills
– Enforces all policies and rules of the venue
– Remains professional and calm under pressure
– Willing to provide and maintain a safe environment for all guests and artists
– Ability to help with physical tasks
– Guard card (preferred)

Bartender Positions

The Troubadour is currently looking to fill bartender positions at the venue.

Requirements: 

– Must have extensive cocktail/beer knowledge.

– Must have experience in a fast-paced bartending environment.

– Relevant training certificate in LEAD license.

– Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean.

– Must have evening/night availability as that is when most of our shows take place.

Internship Positions

The Troubadour is looking for an intern to assist the Director of Marketing and Promotions, Talent Buyer & General Manager here in the Troubadour’s business office.

This internship is open to college students who can receive credit and are studying any of the following: Music Industry, Journalism, Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or Business. If you think your current major will allow you to get credit for an internship with us but is not listed here, please let us know.

We’re looking to have an intern two afternoons a week (Mondays and Wednesdays, 1-7pm)

Intern will be responsible for:

-creating Facebook events

-updating and creating copy for Troubadour Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter 

-managing show posters in the venue

-creating and maintaining monthly Spotify playlists 

-assisting with various marketing duties

 

Intern will assist with:

-ticketing

-production/hospitality set up

-light office duties (phones, filing, copying, faxing etc.)

-venue upkeep (inventories, etc.)

-contributing ideas for marketing plans

-merch selling and box office duties on a case by case basis 

WHO we are looking for:

-strong ability to read social situations

-strong ability to take direction

-strong ability to multitask

-great attention to detail

-familiar with Facebook

-familiar with Twitter

-familiar with Spotify

-familiar with Instagram

-familiar with TikTok

-experience with Photoshop would be great, but not required.

-comfortable answering phones

-self starter

-outgoing

-easy going

-friendly

-sarcastic (but not too sarcastic)

-prompt

-reliable

-sense of humor

-more or less a normal person, quirkiness okay

-knowledge of music a plus, but not necessary as long as you are willing to learn!
