Internship Positions

The Troubadour is now accepting internship applications for Spring 2025! This is an excellent opportunity to understand the inner workings of an independent music venue and the world of live events. This person will be responsible for supporting the Marketing & Promotions Director, Talent Buyer, and General Manager in the Troubadour’s business office. The ideal candidate has a passion for music, concerts, pop culture & media trends.
 
Applicants MUST be eligible for college credit, preferably studying in a relevant field (Communications, Marketing/Public Relations, Music Business, etc) and must be able to work *in office* two days a week. Perks: free admission to all Troubadour shows!

Marketing & Social Media:
  • Work with Marketing & Promotions Director to create and schedule social media posts promoting upcoming events
  • Conduct comprehensive research and compile data for projects and marketing campaigns
  • Stay up to date on social media trends; contribute to content ideas
  • Assist with simple graphic design tasks via Canva and/or Photoshop
  • Managing show posters inside the venue 
Artist Hospitality:
  • Shopping all artist rider items and organizing items efficiently for distribution
  • Manage inventory of all purchased items by collecting receipts and money
  • Ensure artist dressing rooms are set up, stocked, and clean 
Additional Tasks & Duties:
  • Assist Talent Buyer with administrative support as needed
  • Venue Operations including: inventory, merchandise shipments, and basic office administration

  • at least pretty good at graphic design
  • sarcastic (not too sarcastic)
