Internship Positions
The Troubadour is now accepting internship applications for Summer 2026! This is an excellent opportunity to understand the inner workings of an independent music venue and the world of live events. This person will be responsible for supporting the Marketing & Promotions Director, Talent Buyer, and General Manager in the Troubadour’s business office. The ideal candidate has a passion for music, concerts, pop culture, and media trends.
Applicants MUST be eligible for college credit, preferably studying in a relevant field (Marketing, Public Relations, Communications, Music Business, etc) and must be able to work *in office* two days a week. Perks: free admission to all Troubadour shows!
Marketing & Social Media:
- Work with Marketing Director to create and schedule social media posts to promote upcoming events
- Conduct comprehensive research and compile data for projects and marketing campaigns
- Stay up to date on social media trends; contribute to content ideas
- Assist with simple graphic design tasks via Canva and/or Photoshop
- Help manage show posters inside the venue
- Administrative tasks + duties
Artist Hospitality:
- Shop artist riders and organize efficiently for shows
- Manage inventory of all purchased items by collecting receipts and money
- Ensure artist dressing rooms are set up, stocked, and clean
Additional Tasks & Duties:
- Assist Talent Buyer with admin support as needed
- Venue Operations including: inventory, merch shipments, basic office administration

- excellent at multi-tasking
- friendly and outgoing
- able to work both independently and as part of a team
- chronically online with trend awareness
- at least pretty good at graphic design
- sarcastic (not too sarcastic)
- more or less a normal person (quirkiness okay)
